Spring Term 2017

Theme - 'Can You Read Me a Story?'

This term we will be immersing ourselves in books and traditional tales.

Cinderella's Ball

The boys and girls in Pink, Green and Red Classes have had a very busy week planning a ball for a special fairy tale character - we hosted a ball for Cinderella!

First we had to write invitations to our friends, then we got busy decorating biscuits and making cakes, sandwiches and fruit kebabs.

Everyone dressed in their finest clothes for the ball.  We posed by the carriage, danced a waltz and enjoyed the banquet.  We even met Cinderella herself!

We had to make sure we were back in class before the clock struck 12 though!

What a lovely way to end our topic ‘Will You Read Me a Story’.

Julia Donaldson inspired Woodland Visits

We read The Gruffalo and The Stick Man by Julia Donaldson and went to Scolton Woods for story inspired activities.
