Seesaw and Dojo
Seesaw is an excellent way for your child to be able to share with you some of the work that they have done or for you to see some of the activities that they have been enjoying. If you have any problems with accessing the app please just ask us. It is a fantastic way for you to share in your child’s learning and celebrate their successes. Please sign up!
Class Dojo is a reward system that we use. The children all have a character and we award points throughout the day for a range of things including working hard, being kind and helpful, working independently etc. These points can also be taken away if the child does not follow the agreed class rules. With this you can see what your child has had points for throughout the day. This gives you a valuable opportunity to talk to your child about their day.
Please note that although we will use Dojo to send out general information e.g about trips or PE etc, we will not be able to respond to individual questions sent to us throughout the day. We always aim to be available at the beginning and end of each day to talk to you if you wish to.
Dojo and Seesaw are not Social Media platforms and can only be used with the unique access code that you were given. No one else can see your child’s profile or work. If you have any questions or concerns please ask.
Hwb is a free, secure and safe digital space for children to work individually and collaboratively, both in school and at home..... And yes, it's absolutely FREE! Every child has their own username and password and can access 'office365' (which includes mail, word, powerpoint, excel, onenote and much more!) and 'J2launch'. The children are becoming familiar with many of these tools in class but try and encourage them to show you some of their work at home. It can be accessed on a desktop, laptop, tablet or phone.
Our PE session will be on a Tuesday afternoon. We would appreciate it if you could provide a T-Shirt, jogging trousers and trainers. If your child could bring their PE kit in on a Monday for the week as we can’t always rely on the

especially jumpers, coats and PE kit. If you need to buy school uniform it is available from Tees R Us in Prendergast. We do not have uniform at school anymore.
