Freshwater West Beach Clean 2020
Both Freshwater West and Newgale classes had the fantastic opportunity to visit Freshwater West beach to take part in a beach clean organised by the Darwin Centre.
The trip was an amazing sensory experience for all the children. It was wet and windy and allowed the children to really enjoy the natural environment. It was also a humbling experience. All of the children were shocked and disgusted by the vast quantity of rubbish that had washed up on the beach.
It is overwhelming to see how human's have mistreated and harmed one of Pembrokeshire's most beautiful beaches. Fenton's eco-warriors were at hand however and worked tirelessly to do their bit in cleaning the beach.
Parent's and guardian's of these eco-warriors should all be super proud of how understanding, resilient and hardworking your children are!
