This term we learned some well-loved stories including ‘The Three Little Pigs’ which led us to using describing words (adjectives) to describe the big, bad wolf which we also made out of play dough. We used Talk 4 Writing to learn the story and drew story maps. We got creative inside and outside when choosing and using different materials to build houses for the Three Pigs. Next, we read ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ so we had to plant our own beans and recorded our observations in our Bean Diaries. We linked our maths learning about shapes to make castles.
